TAX FREE WEEK!~

The current Tariffs situation in the US is quite confusing and, even though no one knows for sure what will come out of it yet as news keep changing everyday, it has been affecting everyone’s lives.

When the first news about the tariffs started to surface we begun planning what to do in case our shipments were affected as well, which has not happened so far as tariffs of shipments from Brazil are currently only being charged if the importer is a US legal company, therefore not affecting international purchases made by individual US residents.
Nonetheless, considering what is happening with Chinese companies and businesses that manufacture and ship their goods from China, we decided to put one of our plans into action preventively:

Paying for possible customs fees ourselves.

The TAX FREE WEEK will be our first test to check if we can handle such operation, as paying for customs and duties from other countries is not something we are used to doing and need to learn much more about, specially since it will be an action valid for ALL COUNTRIES.

ALL ORDERS from ALL COUNTRIES
placed between 15 to 22 April will be shipped with import taxes and duties paid by MeLikesTea!

Hopefully this will allow us to better understand the taxation system from different countries and will make it possible for us to better plan our future actions.

We cannot guarantee that this will be a permanent MLT policy in the future, as this test is exactly what will allow us to make such decision, but feel free to share this with your friends as the more orders from different countries we get during this week the more we will be able learn and decide.
